Purity in an impure world (PART 1 of 3) 06/02/2012
A comparison of purity and impurity as seen through the eyes of a wise woman of God vs. a wild chick of the world. So Ladies let’s face it, sex and impurity is everywhere and it can often be a struggle to remain pure of heart, mind, body and spirit when the advert for your perfume is a guy and woman almost getting it on in the TV advert or the latest hair dye has an over attractive woman flicking her hair to and fro with not much clothes on…and this is just to sell hair dye. You hear kids talking about it on the bus; it is on billboards, on the radio, magazines, if you mistype a website address you get pulled into it. Sex and impurity is all over the TV and at work, school or college. Impure teasers of sex are everywhere ….aaaaarghhhhhhh. Any intimacy, sexual contact before marriage is against Gods will for you ladies. God wants you to “honour marriage, and guard the sacredness of sexual intimacy between wife and husband. God draws a firm line against casual and illicit sex.” Hebrews 13:4 (Message version). So how do you remain a wise woman of God and not fall into the trap of the wild chick of the world even with all of these tricks of Satan to trap us into sin? 1) What is sexual purity and impurity? Purity is like a bag full of precious diamonds (because you know diamonds are a girl’s best friend right?), let’s say you get a bag full of 100 precious diamonds when you are born. This bag of diamonds represents purity and the onus is on you to keep this bag closed and not spill or lose or share any diamonds until your wedding night if you are blessed with a husband or keep the diamonds protected until that special day when you meet your eternal husband Jesus Christ. Wild worldly chicks say purity is... Just a bag of diamonds that are for everyone to see and share how beautiful they are. The only thing that is pure in this ladies life are the gold necklace and matching earrings she rocks. The wild world chick says I am going to be wearing these beautiful gems all day everyday and giving away, a couple of diamonds to the next cutest guy because maybe, he just maybe the one right? Wrong, and for that cheap trick Wild Worldly chick you lose five diamonds (one for the lustful thoughts, one for the kiss, 1 for the touch and 2 because you listened to your ex-boyfriend when he suggested the “let’s get closer night”). To the wild world chick it is nothing when “she threw her arms around him and kissed…” Proverbs 7:13 because every one of her friends are doing it, she always kissed her last boyfriend and you cannot even sit on the train without a couple smooching away. To add further the wild world chick sees nothing in having her life full of some or all of the sins listed in Galatians 5:19“sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery…” The wildly worldly chick sees it as fashionable to be like the ladies on the music videos who have nothing on but a piece of string to cover their assets and a big smile and an even bigger weave, that is her aim because she sees this as her role model for how a woman must behave and conduct herself sexually. The wild worldly chick does not understand that flaunting her sexuality, and also the kissing, touching and any sexual contact with her boyfriend is not good or best for her even if everyone else is doing it. The wild worldly chick does not know, understand or accept that it is actually sinful. It is highlighted in 1 Corinthians 6:9 “…those who use and abuse each other , use and abuse sex, use and abuse the earth and everything in it, don’t qualify as citizens in God’s kingdom.” The wild worldly chick does not know, understand, or want to believe that she is a slave to sin as John 8:34 outlines that “everyone who sins is slave to sin.”The wild worldly chick has no way of getting a refund on these diamonds. Wise women say purity is... A wise woman who is living according to the word of God has a way of getting a refund on the fallen diamonds…it is through God’s grace and mercy for the forgiveness of her sins and repenting by turning away from the life of impurity and sexual sin. The wise woman is not spilling the diamonds and then constantly asking for a refund or being so prideful and not asking for a refund like some wild chicks of the world, no! The wise woman understands how precious this bag of diamonds is because it points out in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 that “it is God’s will that you should be sanctified that you should avoid sexual immorality: that each of you should learn how to control his own body.” In the past before she knew God, the wise woman may have spilled a whole load of diamonds, but she has put that life totally behind her now she has a new man on the scene…he is incredible… God. So the wise woman unlike the wild chick has a different focus when she is asked on a date by a brother. The wild worldly chick is checking him out physically, wondering if he looks strong, what he can do for her and how this can be the best night of her life. The wise woman has a different focus she is looking to get to know the brother’s heart, find out what are his interests, how does he want to serve God, and what are his dreams in life. The wise woman is truly living out Colossian 3:5 where it states “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature; sexual immorality, impurity, lust…” The wise woman knows that even though there are loads of good looking men out there and that he may look nice and strong, but she knows that men of the world may be strong enough to take her to hell, and that’s is a place she is not interested in visiting. The wise woman knows that her diamond bag is a gift from God to be shared between her and her husband if she is blessed with one in the future. If you said yes to any of the questions above my dear then trust me, you need to get on the next Millionaire Mind Intensive course. The thing that is affecting your earning capacity is…YOU. Trust me the Millionaire Mind Intensive Course by T Harv Eker has helped re- train my mind from being paid for my time to being paid for my performance. This is how wealthy people operate and if you want to break the chains of the 9-5 and do something beneficial like rebuild homes in devastated countries, travel the world, write a book, you get my point right? Just do the course. The Trainers The trainers were Adam-How-you-doin-Markel, a smart phenomenal business entrepreneur from New York, oh yes did I forget to mention that he is an Attorney too. This man shared so much knowledge I just wanted to call him my big brother all weekend. Then there was Marcus de Maria, now this guy is a walking business book, when you are near him you need to have a pen to jot down all the tips. The king of motivation was Mac Aitram he kept us in high energy and dancing our socks off when the energy levels were low. These guys are doing their thing, the question is are you? Here is a snapshot of what I learnt over the course: Money Jars/Accounts Money Jars/accounts are a technique to separate your money into different accounts for specific purposes…and that is all I am going to say, you need to go on the course to find out more. I have implemented this system today. What is your money doing? Breaking Arrows on my Collar bone I broke an arrow with my collarbone to combat fears in life on this course. Now this sounds mad, at first you think these people are nuts and get me out of here and I ain’t breaking no arrow on my collarbone. Imagine, if you can break an arrow with your collarbone, you can do and be anything in life. You need to go on the course to experience this one, it is so empowering. Millionaire status here I come. VIP status When you go to the next course, try and get the money together for VIP tickets, it is well worth the extra splash. We got a goodie bag full of 10 DVDs which cover the "Secret Psychology of Wealth", copy of the book “Secrets of a Millionaire mind by T Harv Eker”, power networking session, free EBook on How to Get Hard Wired for Success, workbook with all the notes in and a dedicated Q& A session with the trainers, oh and you get priority check in too, good or good? Why you need to be there? It was a fantastic 3 days filled with information and motivation that I could be a Millionaire because the power is all in the mind. The room was filled with 1200 people all with the same desire to earn more in less time than a J.O.B (you know this means just over broke right?) and do something to add value to this world. Can you imagine having this amount of people to network with and swap business cards? I got a sore throat and need to order new cards. My phone has not stopped ringing and I might need to hire someone to read my emails for me because the amount of people in the room who I connected with and want to do business with is beyond crazy. If you don’t get on the next course you must be happy with the income that you are on or worse still you are “comfortable”….(horrible word because it stops you from progressing). Go on the course, it’s time to get uncomfortable and grow into the millionaire that you know you can be and start making those dreams in your heart happen. You are amazing and gimme a high 5 when I next see you. So I left the office and hopped on the tube to the Southbank centre at Waterloo to see the “Supreme Ladies of Britain” show. This was a night showcasing the numerous talented UK female hip-hop artists. Now I must admit I did not have much knowledge of the UK scene because it is so dominated by the heavy weight USA presence Nikki Minaj’s and Little Kim’s of the industry. So I was a little sceptical that it would be a bunch of nobodies running around trying to talk yanky. I was so wrong, it was a night full of talented spoken word artists, rappers, beat box champion, and dancers who could pop, lock and break like no other human body can. The night started with a dance battle like no other and the winner could get a £200 gift and some choreography lessons. Ok so if you don’t know what battle dancing is, let me break it down for you. It is like an argument but just through dance and only the best dancer will win the round and move to the next stage. Kinda like X Factor but these people all really did have talent. Through each round, the contestants would hug and then battle dance and then whoever won would be encouraged by the one who lost. Totally inspiring it was sisterhood at its best, trust me. There was popping locking, rocking and straight up hip-hop dancing. I felt like I was on an MTV music video the amount of moves that were being thrown done on the stage. Ok so the dancers were fabulous, but let me introduce to you someone who I would have to call the new Missy Elliot/MC Lyte/Salt and Pepa UK artist called Lady Lykez. Now this artist has some killer lines and had me bobbing my head. Lykez has a song about embracing your figure, whatever your size is and loving it and never being ashamed of who you are or what you are about. This message was in her funky and funny track called “I love my butt.” Oh my gosh before I go there was this beat box girl who was able to drop the best sounds and you actually felt that it was music playing. A great fun night out for all who believe women need to encourage each other and strengthen our sisterhood a whole lot more. Let me know what you think of this blog by adding your comments below or emailing me on info@soyaras.co.uk I just spent a power inspired weekend with Tony Robbins, Alan Sugar, Richard Branson, T.Harv Eker and more at the National Achievers Conference. It was a room with 8000 people on charge with big energy to make big changes in their lives through fantastic business and entrepreneurs’ skills. So many like-minded people in one room it was electric. I race for my seat in the front row , the music starts, every one gets up and we dance, sing, high five and then keenly anticipate the entrance of the first speaker; Tony Robbins. Now this man is a giant of a man filled with so much energy and most of all the skills to push me on further , harder and faster in my goal to make a great difference into this world while becoming a millionaire…no sorry I meant billionaire. I got to high five Tony when he ran up and down the passageways. This man is magical. If you need motivation, you need 1 minute with Tony and it will change your life forever. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Make sure you go to the next one; it will change your life forever. I am so on fire to make a great difference in this world, more than ever before through my entrepreneur skills and some damn hard work. Are you ready to forget the 9-5 rat race and live the life of your dreams so you can do more for others and be a world changer? Alan Sugar was raw, and directly to the point when he said people who want to start a business need to “get real.” Add something of value to the business world and get off your a** and do something. Richard Branson came on with two virgin airlines hostesses draped on each arm. I love this dude, he makes business fun and exciting and he is so humble. Screw it let’s do it. Whatever your business idea is just do it. The one thing that I took from this whole power weekend is to learn something and then do something immediately. Tomorrow is not promised, your mind brought to where you are today and it can take you to so much more. Here are the top quotes from some of the speakers at the National achievers Conference: Tony Robbins: Take advantage of now, use big energy to make big changes in your life. Make your vision your reality. Take immediate action. Greg Secker: Life is a result of how we feel and not what we actually think. Robert G.Allen: Your mind is the greatest money making tool in the world. Blair Singer: Do whatever it takes to win, just do not quit. Alan Sugar: If you want something in life, you must go and get it for yourself. T.Harv Eker: Change your money blueprint and you change your life. Rich people play the money game to win, poor people play not to lose. Adam Ginsberg: Everything you own whether old, new, broken, or perfect has a cash value, if you not using it then sell it. Andy Harrington: why try so hard to fit in when you were born to be unique Simon Coulson: Stand out, add value and be the expert. Kevin Green: Success is the journey, not the destination Tom Hua: Learn and do Kerwin Rae: Do not quit and have a single-minded obsession to do it John Lee: It’s not about the money it is what the money will do for you and others that you care about. Joseph McClendon: Life is exactly what you dare to make it. Richard Branson: have a genuine interest in people; create things to make a real difference in people’s lives. Have fun and love what you do and always seek out a new challenge. Learn from failures and then teach others My next move To make a million pounds then do speaking events, books and training on how to make a million and be one powerful woman giving this talk at the next National Achievers Conference and more events similar to this. I am also attending T.Harv Eker's Millionaire mindset intensive programme in September to change my money blueprint. Then I am developing my property portfolio by attending a course with Wealth Dragons where I am buying property with no money, no deposit and no mortgage. You want to know more then get on the next course with Wealth Dragons. Hold me to this and I will hold you to your next business ideas and dreams. Email: info@soyaras.co.uk Web: www.soyaras.co.uk How is the love life…needs improving? It might help to Act Like a Lady and Think like a Man. 23/05/2011
Ok so my love life has not been that great recently, but I am always trying to improve it. Let me tell you if you are in love, looking for love or just trying to improve your love life you need to read Steve Harvey’s book Act like a lady think like a man. It has changed my approach to dating and love big time. Here are 5 tips from the book, there are loads more but I suggest you get a copy. 1) How men approach love is different from women. Men concentrate on: Who they are, What they do,How much they get paid Ladies once all of these three things are in order in a man’s life then and only then will he be entertaining love on a serious level. If you meet a man that has not achieved these three criteria in his life then don’t be surprised if he is not rushing you down the aisle. 2) If a man loves or is really “in-like” with you he will give you a title. Ok so ladies listen really hard when your man or the guy you are currently seeing introduces you to his friends and family. If he says, “this is my girlfriend Lisa”, then he has given you a title and he sees you as his and has put a claim on you. He is a keeper. My Dear if he just introduces you by your name, then get your bag and go, he don’t see you in the long term no matter what he says or does for you. 3) A man will provide if he loves you Once a man has claimed you, he will provide for you. The more he can provide e.g. sort your car out, pay your bills; help you in all areas of your life, the more alive he will feel. Every appreciation you show him for providing for you boosts his prowess, trust me. Has your man ever washed your car for you and you give him a big hugs and kiss and murmur “thank you baby” his chest will inflate so high and he won’t be able to walk out the front door and will see that he is adding value to your life. That’s what men love. 4) What men need? Ladies this is really simple, men need four main things from a woman: support from you e.g. you help him sort out his tax return or practice a talk he might have to give, loyalty, sex and food. If you are meeting all of these areas then your short-term relationships might just turn into something long-term my dear. 5) Men are fixers So ladies you know when you pour out your problems to your man like “the woman at work had the same hair style or top on as you as you”, your man will tell you to change your hairstyle or stop wearing the top. Unless you want him to fix the problem, then keep your mouth shut. Men want to hear the problem and fix it one time. Men are not like ladies who want to mull over an issue, think about it and digest it and keep going over the same point. Ladies tell your man things you want him to fix, anything else tell your girls. There are loads more tips in Steve’s book Act like a lady think like a man. You should grab yourself a copy. He also has another fantastic book out too Straight Talk, No Chaser. Let me know how your love life improves. Kisses until next time. Soyara Email: info@soyaras.co.uk Web: www.soyaras.co.uk OK so I spent a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon in London at The Chocolate Festival at the Southbank Centre . I love all types of chocolate milk, white, mixed and dark…guess you could call me a Chocó-tart. I am just getting into the whole 70% and above pure coco chocolate line thing. This was an afternoon well spent, well I promise you I didn’t over indulge. Well you couldn’t really, because some of the Chocolatiers at the festival were acting really tight with the “free” samples and I use that term lightly. I kid you not, some of the stallholders were offering the free samples to the gifted and talented punters and then when they took it they would put the free sample tray back behind the banner/counter…nonsense. Totally different form ym experience at the Vitality show a few weeks ago where there were freesamples of tea, juices. Seed bars, health bars and more. But I must add they were not all tight there were two special and informed Chocolatiers, one was Olrtisoln du chocololt and the lovely team on the Hotel Chocolat stand . Now the lovely lady on Olrtisoln had some fabulous chocolate power balls that almost blew my head off…gorgeous if you have mega sweet tooth like me. Let me tell you the power balls are (on the web they are called sugar free milk truffle), take a note sugar free here. They are pure chocolate on the outside and the inside they are packed with liquid caramel. The taste is divine, they have a caramel and a passion fruit flavour too. I am a big chocoholic and I was satisfied after 2-3 balls and that is saying something . They were great at the Olrtisoln stand, gave me lots of information and loads of free samples, which it should be “try before you buy” in my book. The other informative stallholder offering free samples was the Hotel Chocolatier stand. They had such a wide range of products from cute little Easter eggs and the massive family size variety pack. The Hotel Chocolatier stand had chocolate from all over the world, Ecuador, Congo and St Lucia to name just a few. I learnt at this stand that the longer chocolate is churned for then the smoother and silkier the taste. Regular High street brands have their chocolate churning for 6-8 hours. Now the Hotel Chocolatier range has some products that are churned for 96 to 120 hours. Pop one in your mouth and it literally melts in your mouth. Divine! I also learnt so much about the benefits of chocolate . Did you know that pure chocolate can lower cholesterol, blood pressure and contains antioxidants. Let’s not get it twisted I love eating chocolate for the pleasure feeling it gives me, it acts as an anti-depressant and gives me a mini high. So, that’s the end of my Chocolate Festival review. I got to stop now because the chocolate I was eating in-between writing paragraphs has finished. My last word is to enjoy chocolate sensibly…so break that Galaxy in half my dear and give me some. If you liked this blog let me know, if you have ideas how I can improve drop me a line too. Email: info@soyaras.co.uk Web: www.soyaras.co.uk Declutter Month: Less is Truly More 31/03/2011
Declutter your mind and declutter your life. So, do you have any annoying jobs that need doing around the home. Today walk around your home and write down the jobs that need doing e.g. fix cupboard, paint the room and repair the curtain etc. These little odd jobs that you see every day might be draining your energy, slowing down your race to greatness, and achieving your dreams in life. In order for you to be great, you have to be focused, and I don’t know about you but my home allows me a lot of time to think and for me to do that and do it well I might add, I have to have a peaceful and clear space. Each week or month get one of those annoying tasks done. You will feel the tension release off of your shoulders and getting that leaking tap fixed now will allow your mind to focus on other things later. You may not release it but there are many little annoying things in life that are zapping your energy, your task this week is to identify them and reduce or eradicate them out of your life. Your mind is a creative space not a holding place. A jumbled home could indicate a jumbled up mind, if you beg to differ than I might add that you are just too lazy to tidy up and if you too lazy to tidy up what else are you avoiding to do in your life. Ok ladies you know those shoes that you bought in the sales, that were perfect for such and such party and you were just waiting for the right outfit. Get rid of them. Ladies have on average 10 pairs of shoes that they do not regularly wear. Another person trash is another person’s gold. You have uncollected money waiting for you once you sell some of your shoes and clothes that you know cannot fit you anymore. Get yourself an EBay and PayPal account and get selling. If you are not an EBay or PayPal fan there are many collection sites that will pay for your weight in clothes donated. My sister has been putting her unwanted clothes in a black bag, going to the clothes collection centre and it is simply a matter of weigh and get paid. Don’t forget those old CD’s and books that you have lying around the house. You can re-sell these items on Amazon and make a nice little earner. Remember every time you buy something new for your wardrobe and old item should be kicked out. Less truly is more. Oprah's declutter guru shares his tips on how to free your mind Love to hear what you think of the blog contact me on the details below. Email: info@soyaras.co.uk Web: www.soyaras.co.uk Mob: 07943 814 884 Not what you know but who you know 1) Network your way up the success ladder So ever heard that statement “it’s not what you know but who you know.” So not all job adverts will be published in the main newspapers or job sites, sometimes word of mouth is the quickest advertiser. So you need to make sure that you are regularly networking, attending seminars, workshops and social networking sites for people who are already in the industry that you want to enter. 2) Consider a new career OK so you studied English and Maths, but did you ever think that these skills might be transferable to another industry. Research some other industries that you have always thought about doing, check what skills and qualifications are needed and book into the next taster course at your local college. Take on extra tasks that will develop your skills. 3) Prove your worth at your workplace. So when you are doing a report for work, always try to go that little bit extra and add a further piece of research that you have considered, which not part of the original brief. Take on extra tasks that will develop your skills. Create a specialism area at work where you are the go-to person for certain information. Continue to read up on your subject area and keep current and ahead of the game. Success leaves clues 4) Find a good mentor Success leaves clues (Anthony Robbins). If you want to become better, you need to follow the example of those that have had success before you. Drop an email or go to lunch with someone who is in a position that you are interested in working in. Ask for guidance and advice on how you can develop your career. Always think outside the box 5) Have an unlimited attitude If at first you do not succeed then try, try again. Think wider than what you can see at the moment. Have a vision that you can be anything that you put your mind to. Never think that you trained as a biochemist and that you cannot transfer those skills into being an engineer. Always think outside the box. 6) Trusts your instincts Put your CV out there and listen to feedback and make relevant changes. Take a risk and have a plan that is fluid, but albeit a plan. Learning is a lifelong process 7) Learn a new skills Learning is a lifelong process. Business changes so frequently and you need to keep up. So read relevant books, journals and attend seminars and keep your social networking skills current because often headlines appear here first. 8) Listen Listen to those in the industry, listen to feedback and make positive changes i.e. new course, change CV or read a book to get you that little bit closer to your dream job. Having a rich dating life in the middle of a recession…impossible? Let me show you how it is done. (PART 1) 1) Dating in a recession You got to have fun but be careful with your money in this economic crisis. This is the time to think of budget friendly dates and activities to do with your special other half and get through this recession together in love. If your other half does not understand that it is not the amount of money you spend rather than the amount of quality time you have together then may be that person should not be your other half. You got to have fun but still be careful with your money 2) Cinema on cheap night Check out what day your local cinema does half price or two for one tickets and book your date for that day. You get to see the same great film, probably a little less crowd and all within your budget. You buy the tickets & let your date buy the snacks. 3) Book Signing or workshops Check out events on the web and on your Facebook, Meet up, Twitter, Ning or other social network pages. These events are usually free or at a great price and you will learn lots and also get fantastic networking opportunities, you never know who you might meet. Get Some Culture in your life 4) Galleries and museums Get a bit of culture in your life by heading off to your local science museum or gallery and get some culture. There is always a new exhibition or launch happening check out your local listings and let me know how you get on. Southbank Centre always has a new exhibition or event going on. Where to go on a first date 5) Bicycle Riding, running & Walks Get on your bike, you and your partner can take a ride in the country, have a great date and keep fit at the same time. If you cannot ride then how about both of you go for a run or walk in the park. On the other hand, if that is too much sweating and puffing how about a nice even paced stroll hand in hand to the local sightseeing events.
